What would be a good scope choice for a .204 rifle?
« on: January 17, 2005, 06:04:06 AM »
I just purchased a cz527 in 204 and trying to determine what scope to buy. This rifle will be used for varmint/predator hunting and some target shooting. I am willing to spend up to 450.00 for a scope and looking at the 6x18x40 power range in a fine/mil dot rectial.

Thankx Ed

I own a 4x-16x-40mm Elite 4200 and it's a great scope.  Bushnell also has an Elite 3200 in 6x-18x, I think,  which is in the magnification range you are looking.  Nikon also has a similar range.

Both the Elite 4200s and Nikon Monarchs are in or under the $450 range you are talking about.
