Hey there JCM,
Shouldn't be any problem with the reduced loads. Raynor gave you good info, and you can usually find "Red," loads in the Speer loading manual.
Another good source for reduced loads is the Lyman cast bullet manual.
I have and do use reduced loads in rifles for my wife and daughter as well as my own. In this way, they can use their hunting rifle for year long practice with never a chance of developing bad habits such as a flinch.
In fact, I have found that when using a scope it is a simple matter to sight their rifle in with the "hunting" loads just before the season. Then the few shots they may take at game are never felt because of the excitment of the moment. No flinching, no problems.
Just follow good information and have fun with your reloading!
Keep em coming!
