Take a look at www.hr1871.com . I'll reserve judgement on them until I see them first hand.

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

Yes, the new catalog is out as well. Picked it up this week at the gunshop.

Weird that I've called and had them send me one for several years now, yet I'm not on their mailing list.

I wonder if those double barrels are made in China or Russia. The listed weight in the catalog is 6.5lbs, which is very light. Might not be a bad gun if its not Chinese or Russian, but then again, if its not, it will probably be pricy. Most of the Chinese and Russian guns I've handled seem to be very heavy and clunky, so I'm betting they are not if they are really under 7lbs.

Talk about wierd... Out of the blue I get a 2004 catalog in the mail from them back in November. :?   I had not requested a catalog, and why a '04 catalog?  "Verrry strange.... But interesting". as the character from Laugh-in used to say.

Yup...I meant to post something about those new offerings but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.  Looks like I don't have to now.  I'd like to see them first hand...Maybe they will be in the stores by summer time.
