Slow Match
« on: January 20, 2005, 05:43:16 PM »
I alway use a linstock and slow match when I fire either my cannon or those at the Castillo de San Marcos. In doing some research a while back, I found these web sites and thought they might be of interest to some of you guys and girls. Especially those who are just getting in this sport.

Almost everything you'd ever want to know about slow match:

Once you've learned all about it, you need the stuff to make it with:

Source for Potassium Nitrate:

http://www.gregwatson.com/proddetail.asp?prod=Nitrate&PARTNER=google

Source for 1/4" all cotton rope:

http://rope.ws/

I've done business with both companies and can recommend them highly.
