Contender Vertical stringing????

I assume this is caused by the forearm.  How do I fix it?  The barrel is a 24" bull 300 whisper, wood forearm from gunstock inc.

Vert. stringing is often caused by bad primers, ie. inconsistant ignition. If it were your fore arm it would probibly scatter them instead of stringing them. It could also be caused by not haveing the same amount of bullet pull, ie. case neck thickness varries alot of they are not being sized to the same size. My best guess is that your problem is really one of these 2 things.

Vertical strings are also caused by an over heated barrel.  Try waiting a while after shooting a three shot group.
