Stainless Handi Cost

Sorry if this is an old question,,but I went back a dozen pages looking for what I thought I had seen before....and couldn't find an answer.
I may be becoming a handiholic....all the reading of the 223 threads is making me want one.  And I found a stainless synthetic for a cost of $319 as marked on the box, she said over the phone.  But she also told me that could be negotiated down if I came in and was really interested.
So help me out here......what should a handiholic pay for such a necessity?

For cost comparison, Walmart sells the ss 22-250 for $240. I didn't find the .223 SS in their catalog, but Sports South, Walmart's supplier, shows them in stock...

Thanks quickdtoo,,,didn't really want to do the walmart thing,,but I'll keep that price in mind for negotiations. And even if the shop doesn't want to match wallys price maybe they'll get close enough so I won't need to wait for one.
