.45-.410 Barrel
« on: January 26, 2005, 09:54:22 AM »
Can a .454 Casul be used in a .45-.410 barrel or is the pressure to high?
If to high could it be loaded lighter? Also, would anyone have a .45-.410(10") vent rib barrel WITH FLIP UP sight for sale? Also, would like to get a
10" .25-35 bull barrel. Thanks Alot

The 454 casull has too much pressure for the Contender frame. The pressure is somewhere around that of a 308 rifle round and will streatch if not completely blow a Contender frame. They do however chamber barrels for it for the encore which is used to these kinds of pressure.

Thanks Jim; I guess I should have seen one of the earlier posts that
refered to the same subject.
