Is it true that a 6x24x50 will show my movement to much to deer hunt with. The only reason I want such a big scope is cause this rifle will dubble as a varmit gun to.
Any help will be well takin. :wink:

If u keep it on 6x for deer it should be ok . When u get up to 24x thing`s will move a lot Rich
I rather be over the hill than in it

Actually, when setting a scope to even 16x is quite noticeable - you can see the cross hairs go up and down with the beat of your heart. :)   Actually, I'm not really kidding about that.  I have an Elite 4200 4x-16x and you better hold the gun pretty still at 16x.  Then again, it may "train" you to hold the gun still - or at least for me it kinda does.  Of course I don't think that I have ever used a scope set any higher than 12x, but if you varmint hunt, I'm sure you probably would.
