.454 Casull bullet selection
« on: February 05, 2003, 04:28:57 AM »
Hey Billy, I bet you can answer this and sell me something at the same time.  My .454 Casull barrel is on it's way for my Encore and I need some bullets for plinking and whitetails.  Would a 255 gr. be a better choice than the 300 gr. for controlling the recoil on this monster?  I want to work up to full-power loads.  I know you sell both, with your 255 gr. hold up to a whitetail at 1800 fps?

sorry I  missed the post yes the 255 actualy 260gr gas check can and will handle the pressure. Hunting with it should be no problem.
