Price Check
« on: January 28, 2005, 08:27:55 AM »
I'm considering selling off my Encore pistol in order to stay with a rifle set-up.  I'll still have my contender for handgun purposes.  What selling price would you put on the following:

T/C Encore SS Frame
w/ 15" .308 Win. SS Barrel (w/ sights)
Boyds Bros. Nutmeg grip and forend
Warne Maxima Base and Rings (non-QD type)
Bushnell Elite 3200 2-6X w/ Butler Creek flip open covers
T/C Grip cap and sling hardware

I have owned this set-up for about a year now and it has about 50 rounds through it.  I figure that I have about $850 to $900 invested in it.  Again, any ideas on an asking price?  Thanks in advance for the help.

Pricing an item depends on how bad you want to sell it.  Asking price probably in the neighborhood of $700-$725.   If you want to sell it pretty quick $650.     Stainless frame $275-300 , stainless 308 barrel  $150-$175,  boyd grips  $50,  Elite scope  $150-$175,  rings & base $25.   This is just my opinion.     Ed
