Reloader 7, and 220 FP Hornady. It`s a very pretty thing. I got a 12" Hunter. At 75 Yards you can cover the 5 shot group with  almost a quarter. It`s a great shooter.

Near max of Rel 7 and 220 Hornadys are great in mine. It will cloverleaf them most of the time at 50 and quarter size at 100.
Also took a large hog at about 140 yds last week, it was a good shot he went down and did not move.  Great round for hogs. If I had to give up all my contenders but one, the 375 would be the keeper. Good luck.

I use IMR 4198 and the 220gr. Hornady's for a deadly combination.  It's taken both whitetails and a Maine black bear, and performed flawlessly on both.  I also tried IMR 4895, but found the load inferior to the 4198.  Might have to try Reloader 7 from what I hear here.
How'd you like a peek at my 14-incher? (Contender, that is)

:D On the suggestions of others in these forums I used reloader 7 and imr 4198 and both worked fine with 220 gr. hornaday bullets.
These loads shot well out of my 12 " barrel.

I've been using H4198 with the Sierra 200 grain FN for five years and the load has proven to be accurate and effective in the field.  I haven't even bothered to try the Hornady since the Sierra has worked so well.  Send a PM if you want the recipe.

I used RL7 for years and it is the classic powder in this case, but actually AA1680 is better IMO.  It gives about 100 fps higher velocities than RL7 does in rifles (Hornady data) and 100 fps higher speeds in handguns (Sierra data).  I don't have a .375WCF with a barrel under 20",  but it works great in my rifles with jacketed bullets.

.375 150 Yd. Performance

I may have an occasional shot at whitetails out at 150 Yds. How's accuracy
and terminal performance of the 200/220's out there? Would that be
stretching the capability of the cartridge? Would I be better served by a
.30-30? (I'd be using a scope and rest.)

Not in the TC but in my Winchester, the manuals list the 4198 producing a slight edge in velocity over RL-7.  But I'm pushing almost 2150 fps with a 250gr load from my Winchester.
God, Family, and guns, in that order!
