What is it worth?

I have a buddy that just picked up an old Remington pump in 25-20.  It is in very good shape.  He paid $25.00 for it.

It should be a Model 25 and depending on what "Very good shape" is, it could fetch about $300. They are nice shooters but don't load spitzers unless it's one in the chamber and one in the magazine. They still have enough recoil to discharge from being end to end like larger cartridges.

I have not seen it but he was telling me about it.  To buy any rifle for $25.00 is a great find.  I figured it must be worth a lot more than he paid for it.  Thanks,
