Another sight question.

I was looking at the sight on the H&R Store site. The reciever sight for the Buffalo classic. How does that mount. Does it mount on the scope base or the base screw holes? I can't tell buy the picture.
shot placement is everything.

It mounts in the back 2 holes for the scope base.

Quick,

does that sight have more vertical adjustment than the stock sight, especially does it adjust lower to the barrel than the stock sight, allowing you to lower your POI?

edit  -stock sight, as in the one that comes with the gun, not a sight mounted to the stock

I have to say no, it wouldn't go as low as the barrel mounted sight...but not having one, I don't know for sure. Here's a better pic of the one that H&R sells.
