Introduction

Greetings :D , I am a newbee to the forum.  I would like to thank Graybeard for opening this forum, Redhawk1 and Wilscott for their pithy oversight and all members for their posts.  I learned alot about the huntsman.  I regret not having the oportunity to visit the (Old H&R sight) but as for the recession of 1929 and prohabition I do not.  The early ml season in PA. is fairly new (when inlines are legal). I have used a t/c hawken for 25 yrs. during late season and have shot some tasty deer with it.  I tried out the early season with it but my eyes don't have what it takes to shoot open sights anymore.  Instead of buying fiber optics (40-45$)  I began looking into scoped inlines.  I found this sight and have been prowling since october.  After calling every gun shop in my area including wal-mart and not being able to find a HUNTSMAN I went to a local gander mtn. where they had a s/s sidekick (199+6% sales).  (Buy the way, wal-mart said they will be getting sidekick soon).  At gander I asked to see the sidekick and for the heck of it I asked if he had a HUNTSMAN.  HE came from the back w/ sidekick and a HUNTSMAN!!  Bought the HUNTSMAN! (116+6%sales+5 for form 4473=129.00   Now huummm a 28ga. or 410 barrel  I'm hooked!! :-D        Sorry for being so long winded, tried to keep it short :toast:

stew,

Welcome to the madness!  I started with one, now six and a couple more to buy this year. :?  I don't know where it ends?

There are a bunch of good guys here and are willing to help you with anything. If you reload, my vote would be the 28ga. The 410 shotshells are very expensive to buy.
