I'm right with Palgeno on this one. I had a Contender with a 10" barrel that was the hardest kicking handgun I have ever shot, just wicked. And this was with Winchester White Box. It was harder to control than my FA .454 shooting firewall loads (300 grain BRP cast over 32 grains of H110).
There has to be a reason, I just didn't feel like taking the time to figure it out. :?
