Any tips on changing the &^%$$@# hammer spring???

Make a slave pin the width of the hammer. This pin will enable you to put the spring and hammer together as a unit. Install hammer with spring into frame, align slave pin and push out with hammer pin.  Make several pins pass them out to your buddies, they'll all thank you.

Right Mugs, I found this out the hard way. I don't think you can do it without a slave pin.
