bear scents

It's time to start thinking about spring season. I was hoping for some input on bear scents. I have checked out sites like Cronks, wolfmoutain and bearscents llc. Has anyone tried any of these products.  Thanks Slim

We have tried Cronks and Bearscents with great success with both.  The key is to get them to come in the first time, after that you can keep them there with the sweets.  I always put out checken and I find it is very successful in getting the bear to come in.  Jim is not so fond of the chicken and he uses the Cronks or Bearscent (Bacon) and gets just as much result.  I guess it all depends on what you are comfortable with.  Good luck.

I have used products from Bearscents LLC for several years now with great success. My particular favorite is "bacon" scent while my hunting partner prefers "jelly doughnut". Whichever you choose, apply to bait site liberally & reapply each time you rebait the site.  One word of caution, however, DO NOT under any circumstances apply these scents directly to yourself or your clothing.
