Miller;
i have been pretty lucky with the .35, i have had 2 different pistol barrels, and have a 21" carbine and have yet to have a misfire. Both barrels i have now have had about 100 rounds or so each through them, i dont shoot them much except a bit before deer season.
when sizing cases i spray a case neck with aerosol graphite spray, which blackens it so i can see where the sizing die is adjusted to, so i can only neck-size the cases.
i have never tried any other factory loads, about 3 years back at wally-mart they had .35 Rem 150 grain Remington ammo on clearance for $5 a box. i bought 15 boxes and havent yet shot it all up. Both the carbine & the pistol will hold about 1.5" at a hundred with the 150 grainers.
