What does the allen screw do that sits above the firing pin where the hammer strikes it? Is it used for any firing pin adjustment? thanks Kurt

It keeps the firing pin retainer in place.

Remove it to remove the firing pin if you wish to dry fire with the hammer striking without the firing pin to keep from damaging it.

Yep, if you ever break a fireing pin just unscrew the allen and push the the frount disc that holds in the fireing pin and spring to replace it. Should be albe to do the job in 5 min. 30 sec. out 4 min. cleaning ouy the carbon and 30 sec. putting it back.

I think I know the answer but can you get the replacement firing pins anywhere but TC?  About how much are they if a guy wanted to purchase one ahead of time to keep "just in case?"
