I've read so much from you guys on the 45 gr white box ammo for the 223,,and was curious if anyone has anything good to say about the 55 gr?
I'm planning getting a 223 in the next couple weeks and wondered if i should order both weights or just keep it simple, and go with the 45 hp.

From what I've read here and on other forums I believe you will be better off just staying with the 45gr. Seems most of our handi's prefer the lighter loads but I plan on buying some 55gr and reloading the brass after I do some testing to see if I could use it for pelt hunting.

if you're reffering to the 55gr fmj,  it is simply plinking ammo. not accurate.

doesn't compare at all to the very accurate 45gr varmint hp.
