best scope for .22lr benchrest shootin?

im currently using a simmons blazer 6-24-50ao ($69) on my target rifle and has done me very good, but im wondering whats the best scope to put on my next bench gun? :roll: .any replys very welcome and opions negative or good. i wont be offended at all. :wink:  :D .

Many of the competition shooters use the Leupold 36X.  It seems to be the most popular.

For benchrest, absolute precision and repeatability with the scope adjustments is most important. I'd go with the Weaver T36 or Sightron SII 36X for that reason. Leupold makes tough and lightweight hunting scopes, but their adjustment system isn't quite as good as the Weaver and Sightron target scope systems are.
