first off im new here. i am looking to buy my first bolt action 22. mainly for bench shooting. rugers remingtons etc. out of my price range.i have looked at all the marlins. someone please help me decide. thanks in advance.

The marlins and savage 22rls are pretty accurate for the money. The key with the 22 is to not clean the barrels. It takes about 30-50 rounds to stabilize the barrel every time you change brands of ammo.
