My new C96  1930's commercial , in 7.62x25 80% bluing, NO RUST or
Pitting , bright shiney bore,  This one was well taken care of and properly
cleaned after shooting.. The internals are spotless .. i think i keep this one
as good Mausers are hard to find.

patm41 - that's one nice looking broomhandle you have there.  Where did  you find it?  I love those things.  I had one in 30 Mauser and then found a 9mm upper for it.  Took some fitting but when I got it to work it was a blast.  I know there is a place on Long Island (Neu Yawk City) that re-conditions them but I haven't seen them advertise in a while.

The nice thing about the 7.62x25mm ammo is that it is inexpensive from Sellier and Bellot, and clean shooting.  You've got a prize there, have fun.  Mikey.

I bought this from a local collector friend that has several really nice
C96's  It took a while to convince him to part with one..
I have a supply of S&B since i also have a CZ-52 , thats one hell of a
great round..
I have been looking at ..http://www.simpsonltd.com/index.htm
for a while as they have a large selection of Mauser C96's
and decided if i was going to spend the big bucks id get one that i have seen and know the history on.
I will fire a stripper clip of ammo thru it then clean it back up and put it away for those special Show and Tell sessions .. :)
