Experience with Disc Elite?
« on: February 04, 2005, 03:09:47 AM »
Does anyone have any experience with the .45 Disc Elite? What can you tell me about the powerbelt .45 aerotip with this gun? I know they all shoot different, but I can get a killer deal on the powerbelts and a good deal on the rifle at about 270.00 for the blue/synthetic. Also I heard that somewhere named Jerry's?? has a good deal on these guns as well, but I can't find anything about them on the net. Can anyone help? Underclocked? Thanks.  Pete

Pete50,
You are probably talking about Jerry's, a distributor up in PA. My smith in NC. deals with them all the time. He passes on the good prices to me as well. They have a lot of hard to find specialty stuff as well. The bad news is, I think you have to be a dealer to buy from them. I did find their website once and that is what I gathered from it. If that doesn't work some of the GBO sponsors have good prices as well.
A friend at work, hunts with a guy that has one. From what I hear it is a shooter. I personally have no experience with the .45 Knights. Always shot the 50's.
Good luck in your search,
Stan

I know that the Disc Elite in .50 is one of the best inlines ever made. It is extremely accurate.
I don't know about the .45, whether good or bad. But, there could be a good reason that they are going so cheap.

Can anyone tell me about Jerry's Distributor - my buddy has an FFL, although it may not be needed for this purchase. Do they have a website?

Maybe this is the place you're trying to find.
Hope this helps,

You won't need an FFL to buy a Disc Elite in West Virginia.

Good luck finding an Elite.  Knight has recently announced that they are discontinuing the Elite, and from what I have heard on other forums, they are going fast.  I snagged one  a while back and am really glad I did now.  I paid $300 delivered for mine, but the best deal I have seen recently was $359 + shipping.  I have never fired mine, but from all the reviews, it is the most accurate out of the box ML on the market.  Good luck finding a gun.
