The BRAND NEW T/C G2 w/ 22 LR Match barrel ordered on 10/4/04 will be here next Tuesday.  Gonna top him w/ a Nikon EER 2X28 and let her rip.  Already HOT for the next barrel!  What da y'all say, what should it be, 17 HMR, 223 Rem, the 373 JDJ sound really interesting, what's up with it?
Thanks and Gig''em

Dumb question - why on earth does it take over 4 months to get a standard caliber G2 contender?    Did someone walk it from the factory in New Hampshire to Texas for ya?  :)  :-D

Don't overlook a 7-30. IMO, possibly the best standard chambering available in the contender.

My first G2 took that long, but that was early in production.  Now they seem to be in stock.

Why So Long?

4 Months, I do not know.  I have a GREAT local gunshop!  Started seeing G2's new on Auction America and went in Wednesday and said we needed to call and get this straight.  Called the first 3 of his main suppliers with none in stock, forth call, BINGO! Why so long, did he drop the ball?  I don't know, but it is on the way!

I ordered a G2 Carbine with 22LR and 223 barrels. It took 7 days. This was last month.
