1895cb...gotta brag!!

Went to the range yesterday...not really being serious about pinpoint accuracy and shooting offhand standing w open sights...50 yrds...put 5 rounds of 300gr and 5 of 405gr into the black with 3 in the ten ring and only one out in the 8 ring!!

'Course with that 26" barrel I felt like I was halfway down range before I pulled the trigger!  :-D

What a great out of the box shooter...only second time out with it, too.

Do any of you have one of these you use for hunting? I may have to put this one in the woods this coming fall...

:D  Gallatin...would that be Beaufort, NC???

If so, I grew up there!!    Are you vacationing down there?? If interested, I can recommend some great places to eat/stay, etc.

What a great area, especially if you like fishin'!

I put a Marbels tang site on my 1895 CB and accuracy went from fair to real good.  I'm still working on load development.  The addition of the tang site was the best thing I could have done.  Now I can't wait to shoot it again.

We got two of them, 1895cb's both are very accurate. We have Marble tang sights, and .312 blades on both. We like to shoot 11grs. of unique and a 300 gr. cast bullet very accurate, very uniform MV's (1100 fps), and low recoil. Great rifles they are
