Was somebody looking for a .280??
« on: February 07, 2005, 04:14:32 PM »
I seem to remember someone looking for a .280 and just happened to find one at a pawn shop today. It is a 26" ultra hunter with a green/gray laminate stock for $209. It looked pretty good, I didn't look at it too hard though.
I thought someone was looking for one on here or maybe just the barrel, I wouldn't mind getting it and parting with the barrel since I could get a .270 barrel and trigger job on the rest, really liked the color of the stock.
Anyone want the barrel and how much you willing to pay for it?
Thx,
R
Cheers,
R

Just trying to look out for you guys...I'm still deciding on a Handi or Encore, but the more I mess around with my son's .243 handi and coming across potential deals like this one, I'm leaning heavily towards another Handi in the family!
Anyone else looking for a .280, let me know if you're interested.

 , please don't do this to me rednecked1!!!  (at first I thought it was "Redneck DI"). I have a 19" .280 Ultra barrel and it's so nice I have always wondered what a full length .280 would be like!!!  I don't need it, but I want it, but I can't aford it, but I'd like to have it, but I don't need it, but I want it, but I don't need it, etc, etc, etc....Now I'm going to think about this all day. If you do buy it and are going to sell the barrel please PM me....<><.... :-D
