Brenneke KO's
« on: February 08, 2005, 10:37:21 AM »
I have used winchester 1 oz. foster slugs through my smooth bore slug barrel on my 1100 for the last 6 years. It seems to like them really well. I can hit a power steering fluid bottle(empty of course) at 75 yards. I just bought 4 boxes of the KO's at gander mountain. They were on sale for 1.59 for a box of 5. I was wondering if anybody uses them and what kind of accuracy and knockdown have you experienced. The price was what got me to buy them and a friend always told me he liked the brenneke Rottweils, so it seemed like a good idea at the time. I am a believer in the IF IT AINT BROKE DON'T FIX IT program so this might have been a bad buy.

Well, there's only one way to find out if the gun likes em or not...

I've heard good things bout Brenneke, but I don't hunt with a slug. Might wanna ask RedHawk1. He's got some stories to tell with slugs  :) .  :D
