B.C. for 125grn barnes x

I just loaded my 30-06 with a 125gr. barnes x bullet.- and varget powder. My rem. 700 didn't like 54.7 grns., but it loved 56.0 grns. How does a person find the b.c. for a different bullet?? I just found something close and played it safely and came up.

BC for Barnes bullet (if you believe Barnes) is .372.

So just what are you saying, really?? Do you feel barnes is trying toooo hard to advertise their X's?? That's an honest question. I'm new at this and have no experience with them, good or bad.

If you think they do not list the right BC, could you tell use how you  found that out? Do you know how to compute BC. If so please let us know how to do it.  I think this is what tootalloutdoors was asking.  :D

A bullet's BC is different under different conditions, most notably velocity.

When a company lists only one BC for a bullet without listing the velocity they leave themselves a lot of room for BS.

If you take a look at the Sierra manual they list the BC of each of their bullets at three different velocities...

Secondly, I have found that the Barnes manuals contain more errors than any of the other manuals available.
