Scope bases
« on: February 09, 2005, 02:18:29 AM »
I'm looking for the lowest/thinnest weaver type scopebase I can use on a 12 gauge NEF.  I am putting a red dot scope on a NEF 12 gauge turkey gun and want the scope to sit as low as possible.  It's a short scope so I don't have to worry about hammer clearance.

Ok I know that the Weaver base for the Handi's is a #82.  Lots cheaper than the NEF mount.  I heard that a base for a Rem 760 or 7600 will fit.  Can anyone confirm or repute this?  If so they are a lot lower from looking at the pictures.

PROUD REDNECK CONSERVATIVE

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun
