thompson contender 221 octagon 10" barrel !! Value ??? I just looked at an asome 10" 221 fireball octagon barrel with original open sights. He is seeking $220.00...Is this a high or a good price?

Thank you.

The value of any item is determined by the agreement of the two parties involved, namely the willing buyer and the willing seller.  If you are willing to pay $220 and he is willing to accept that then that establishes the value for that item.  Will he take less?  Ask and find out.

Unless you collect them and absolutely have to add this to your collection, I would say no, it's not worth it. Check Ed's Contenders for a ballpark price on old octagon barrels.
