happy range report!

well after two days of snow and wind i was able to get to the range with my new used m66ss6 (.357).
its every thing my old m19 was! and even better i think. i useds 357 158 gr. jsfp's $12.95 per 50 and was also very happy with this ammo, very clean and consistent.
     anyhow 1.5 " groups @ 25 yds. no problem.  da rapid 4 to 5" easy, this sure impressed 3 deputys that were using glock9mm & .40 s&w's.
they seem to broadcast shoot. i was trained to shoot for the x. i guess police training has changed in the last 30 years.
this model 66 is a wonderful revolver and has found a home. gray beard would have loved it but now he will have to come all the way to cold vermont to try it !!
if its worth doing, finish it!

Good shoot'n.  I wish my groups were as good with my new Vaquero.

I have a model 66 also but with a 2 1/2 inch barrel, but the accuracy is great. I had a trigger job done and it is very light. In single action mode it is about 1 1/2 lb. I love S&W triggers.  :D
