Winchester Scopes??

Anyone had any experience with the Winchester line of scopes that comes with the free lens covers and lockable case?

Has Winchester gotten into the optics business too?  I think I heard a rumor about that somewhere, but I didn't know for sure.

I honestly don't know anything about Winchester's scopes, but I sure wonder if they will fold just like another gun maker tried to get into the scope business (Smith & Wesson.)
