I called a neighbor whose land borders a pine plantation this afternoon to see if I could call it and he said go ahead, so at 4:30 PM I headed in across his corn feild to the creek bottom, I had to sit at the bottom of the hill because it was to brushy on the side hill, I sat for about 5 min. before I called, I was thinking maybe this is'nt a good spot theres a house about 250yds to my east one about 200yds behind me a farm and two house about 400yds to the North on the next road, but I was there and set up so I got out me Critter standard call and did a series of dying rabbit, waited about 5 min. did a second series waited 5 more, did one more series and through in a couple ki-yis after 2 mins. out of the pines on the other side of the creek comes a coyote, hes just trotting along towards me at about 100yds he stops I gave him 3-4 squeaks and he starts coming again at about 50Yds I bark him to a stop and drop him with my 221. One stand like this makes up for all the dry ones. GOOD LUCK and Good Shooting
