I can't believe there is a forum for this... !  

When I was a kid my grandfather had a small cannon.  Maybe only 10 inches long.  He used to fire it on the 4th of july.  I believe he used black powder, but I'm not sure.  I think he just stuffed paper towel or something in the barrel to pack the powder.  I don't recall him ever shooting anything out of it.  

Well, he passed away and someone else has the cannon.  I'd kind of like to relive my youth and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.  I'm interested in something that is similar in size to the cannon my grandfather had.

WELCOME!  Most of us have good memories of one cannon or another associated with a dear relative.

The field is WIDE OPEN to options.  Spend an evening reading through some of the threads here and you'll see everything from golf-ball caliber (some smaller) up to bowling ball caliber and beyond.
