If the coin is 1 1/2 will you be able to read the smaller print? I like the last one (No.7) even though the gun isn't technically a Handi. Dang it that PD shoot design makes me even sadder that I can't make it. I wish we had something fun to shoot like that on my place. I might host an east coast version of it.

I like the 2005 date because this is when we did it. But the 2004 date would be acceptable too. Still voting for the Feb 20th version. I have a couple of the "special edition" medals I'd like to replace with GBO medals. Any suggestions on removing the old medals without buggering the stock?

A heat gun possibly? Just be careful not to cook the stock's finish.

Try an large old fashioned soldering iron on the center of the coin/medallion  to heat it up without heating the wood and wood finish to much. Call CS first and see what is used to affix the medallions into the stocks, that should tell you to what temperature you have to heat the coin to soften the adhesive....If needed, drill and tap the medallion, screw in a long bolt to give you leverage, heat the coin and then bend the bolt off to the side to apply leverage and remove the medallion, you will however ruin the issue medallion....unless you just tell people you shot the hole through the center of the medallion at 200 yards with your Handirifle!!!....<><....

These are all off the top of my head after a couple of single malts so there may be a better, easier way!!! You know, retirement is not that bad after all!!! Just to darn busy!!!

MSP & Brett: Thanks for the suggestions. I guess I'm getting ahead of myself since the medals aren't in my hands yet!

i like this one the best of all so far :-D

I will absolutely NOT agree to the GBO name being used in conjunction with this image. I don't even appreciate it being on here. This thread could meet an untimely demise ya know. GB

version 6 and 7 are good. not too busy, and acknowledges GB Outdoors.

2004, 2005 one seems as good as the other, but I can see why 2004 would be more important.

Gampa Mike - great job.

Just make sure the final design is one I can live with if the GBO name is used. As I said I don't really want to inject myself into what design you select BUT if GBO is used I have to be certain that it is appropriate and as you know Big Mortie ism's are NOT.

GB's already voiced his opinon on that one.  All of the designs so far are agreeable to me.  I'm still in for 1.

Did this die again?

It's OK if it did, I just want to clean up my Computer by deleting most of versions.
