I don't own one, but my buddy does. I love the gun, it shoots great. It shot so will I wanted a BFR, but I got the 500MAG BFR instead. I am still thinking about getting the 45-70 though.  :D

I have one that I'm very happy with.  The recoil is less than my 454 and it is very acurate.  I mounted a Holosight on it and shot a deer last year.  It is a big gun but I find it to be well ballanced.

Well , I hope it is a good gun as I have one on the way. Always wanted one. The price was good so I could always get my money out of it... I will post results in this forumn.. Soon.. I hope.. I have never been recoil sensite.. I guess this will be the test.. Magnum Reaserch says it has less recoil than a 44 mag under three pounds.. done that.. fun..fun// Supposodley the slower burning powder and excess case volume causes the recoil to be less as it is spread out over a greater time period.. the phycics works ,, but we will see. Will find out first hand very soon.. There is a lot of conflicting info out there.

When it comes to large bore pistols, I see no need for a revolver. Thompson Contender and Encore  are all I need! Have 357 Max, 7MM-08, 45-70 and 460 S&W..........IMHO 8)

I have a BFR in .454 Casull and love it. Solidly made, excellent fit and finish, and 'tight'...I mean, I can't even get a .0015 feeler guage in the barrel/cylinder gap. Very happy.

Oh...it also came from the factory with a scope mount and screws ready for rings and scope.
