Anyone shooting this barrel in the handis?  I am just about ready to send off for one, and and curious.  And, hmmm,  :o , need a scope for it too.  Thinking of maybe a new Mueller 3x9x40 I've been reading about on the optics forum.   :grin:  :grin:

I don't have a 7 08 but I have the 280,and for some reason or another the 7 mm bullets are putting down the hogs I shoot in there tracks. 4 hogs shot( 2 with a 280 and 2 with a 7 mag.)and they all dropped on the spot. And they were not neck shots either. Digger

I have the 7mm-08 and love it. I had the 280, and I love the 7-08 better.
I am getting 3000fps with sierra's 130 gr bullets and they are a dear killer.
