got the wrong screw for forearm ///what size do i need?

i lost the screw that holds the forarm on my T/C Contender super 14" 44mag made in the 70's...i called T/C office customer service.....they sent me both screws( one short and one longer).....but the one i need is the longer one and the one they sent was to short........how long does that screw need to be........all replies appreciated.thanks

Moose, take the proper length screw and go to any hardware store. You need a 10-32 screw, and then just match it up. You'll find them with different heads....button, hex, etc., just pick the one you want.

Get a 10/32 cap screw (allen head) of the correct length. Or get a long one and cut to the right length.
