How much does the LOP change if you just pull off the Butt Plate and install a LimbSaver without sawing off the stock?

About 1 to 1.5 inches.

Wonder if you could just take the butt plate off a youth stock and slap a LimbSaver on.  You might have to shape it a bit, but they sell 'em made for that, too.  At an inch that would almost be 'standard' LOP.  That would solve 1 thing for me.  I could just buy a youth 12ga for my HD/CAMP GUN and not have to cut a barrel down to 22in.  Thats the length I want.
THANKS
