Springfield Armory M1A super match
« on: February 21, 2005, 08:53:08 AM »
I was given this rifle recently and Springfield told me it was sold as a receiver only in 1987.  It has the heavy walnut target stock, kreiger barrel, NM sights and trigger.  Action is glassed and rifle shoots one inch at 100 yds for me.  Am curious what this might be worth as I do plan to sell it and get a scout or something a little lighter as I have a bad back and am just turning 60!!!.  Any help appreciated.

I have to agree with the Wizard on this one. That's a heck of a nice rifle you got there. Wish I had one like it. But I still love my M-1. It's resting right in yonder in the gun room.
