If'n your gonna "stir the pot" - I'd be hopin it's black eyed peas and ham, with the cornbread cookin on the griddle.
I'm havin pintos with fried taters, brocolli and cheese, and of course - cornbread, Southern style, for my grits tonight, here on Maui.
I'd gladly send you some - I've eaten MRE's, and they just don't give ya enough of that "tabasco" stuff ta hide the taste! M(eals) R(efused) by E(thiopians)!
I'm not lookin forward to another season of "brown bags and rainbow meat" myself - but it pays the bills.
