Help with the age of a Model 14-3

Looking at a used Model 14-3 in very good condition.  I am curious as to the age of this revolver.  The serial no. is 3k472XX.  Thanks.

1972 according to the SCoS&W 2nd.  14's are nice (!) revolvers.
