He proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is a certifiable lunatic.

His ilk are best kept out of sight, and out of mind, the way Charles Manson is.
If at first you don't succeed, by all means try again. But if this doesn't work, give up, because there is no sense in making a darn fool of yourself.

Troll would be a better term to use than hacker. A hacker is one who has the technical knowledge to go into the administrative portion of a site without permission with the intent of doing harm. To my knowledge this person (sub human scum actually) has no such.

They registered as a member. Quite a few times in fact. Then began posting the most vile and disgusting images and language you can image along with links to other sites for more of the same. Truely they prove that the devil does exist and has people who do his bidding.

We have banned the IP address they used, deleted all accounts created and removed all posts made. In addition I have instituted a policy of not activating new accounts for posting until I swap e-mails with the new member.

I'm just not going to allow such behavior here. No matter what has to be done to prevent it, I'm just not going to allow it.

Kudos to you my friend. There is enough filthy trash in my e-mail every day I don't want. We need a decent place to hang out on the net.

Good God I hope that doesn't happen again. All us moderators were going back on forth what to do about the moderators who weren't online when that sucker was plastering **** all over their forums. Luckifully GB got on when the second round hit and he PERMANENTLY ended the situation. Thank God. I really, really hope I don't have to deal with that scenario again.  :D

Yes, Graybeard thank you from me also. I too have a 16 year old son who spends countless hours reading this forum. In fact he's the one who first found this place.
Thank you too for all those who share their wisdom and opinions.

I've dwelled here only since last year. It has always been pleasant except for yesterday's incident, which no one usually posting here would in the least contemplate.

Great job on keeping this site up!!!  Without this site mainly and a few others on the net I'd be laying in bed resting where i'm suppose to be!!  I lasted only a few days with Jerry Springer and watching who's your daddy Maury Povich where do they get these people???  The most of TV shows suck??  Even the news is more depressing than the way i feel i was going to send them my Zoloft!!!!!  Thank god i can come here its just so up lifting to us old timers.

Graybeard,

Thank you for the integrity and quality of this site!  I appreciate having a place to come and visit with fellow hunters and better than that with fellow Christians.  I enjoy this site and the rules that you have instituted.

Keep up the good work!  :agree:

Thank you GB, I have enjoyed this sight only been here a few short months, learned lots & enjoy the honesty of all (except the above mentioned loser). My 8yr old son was looking over my shoulder when all that mess popped up & I Xed out of the sight luckily he did not get the gist or ask any questions he is a smart boy but sometimes too smart. Just a thank you for keeping it clean & family based :agree:

It sucks that we have people doing this sort of stuff just to get on other people's nerves.  Probably an anti trying to break up the site.

Good luck on keeping him/her locked out.  With all dial-ups and many DSL connections using dynamic IP's though, it'll be hard to ban him without banning an entire domain.  With any luck though, they should eventually get tired of being chased off and give up.

Thanks GB and Matt also, for all you and Matt do and all the time you expend on this wonderful site...

AND.....

:D , Welcome aboard snowman485, It's kind of a rough way to place your first post but I have to tell you this is by far the best site going, and thanks to the vigilance and tenacity of Graybeard and our overworked Moderators it will continue to be. Come often and stay late, you are welcomed here and feel free to chime in anytime....<><....

Also.....

MGMorden, If you  read some of the posts in this thread I am sure you saw that guys here have their young kids on here also. I am sure you don't speak like that ("It ?ucks that we have people") in front of your mother and you don't have to impress us on how tough you are so I ask that you clean up your speech while on the site. It may be allowed by the Supreme court in a 5/4 decision but it does not make it proper. This is not a condemnation of you and I ask you don't take it as such. Many young people speak like that, it's just not proper where women or youngsters may be. We do not want to show ourselves to the "anti's" as ignorant and illspoken. This site should be a place any of our children or wives can visit and read through the posts without being exposed to vulgarities, so I would appreciate it if you posted without using "4 letter" words....Thanks very much....<><....

It is great to have this place to share and learn.  GB, do what you gotta do to keep it just the way it is and I'm sure you'd get the full support of many many members if you just ask.  Frankly  it is obviously a labor of love, otherwise the headaches wouldn't be worth it.  Thanks! thanks! thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
