Seriously, a good part of that decision if finding de birds first. All the areas you listed are good (fields aren't the best, but it depends). As long as you can conceal yourself and get a bird within range, you're good. I've heard good points in all the places. I know that if you hunt along a logging road, you can hunt in one of the bends, this way you can put the turkey about 20 yards within shooting range instead of, like, in a field, when he might only come in 50 yards before he don't feel like comin in anymore because he can see the decoy and his curiosity is gone.
But that's just my opinion.
