Same here.  I've got 40g vmax and h335 and imr3031.  Hopefully someone will have good loads with either of those combinations.

27.5 grains of Varget
50 grain Hornady V Max
Federal SR Primer
Lake City Arsenal Brass
*THIS IS A MAX LOAD.  REDUCE BY 10% AND WORK UP FOR YOUR RIFLE*

This is a very boring load......It puts bullets in the same hole all day long

I've got some 40 grain V Max's loaded up with Blc2 that I need to test yet, so I don't know how accurate they are.  I'll report on them when I have shot them.[/b]

My best grouping hand load in my 223 Handi is a Winchester 45gr JHP bullet using 26 grains of WC846 surplus powder, a cci mag primer and commercial brass.  Military brass has a tendency to stick in my rifle.

It is the only load I could ever get to shoot consistently at or under 1" at 100 yds.

My favorite is 50gr Nosler BT, 26 gr Varget, Winchester brass (saved from the Win white box ammo), and CCI #400 small rifle primers.

This isn't a max load by most data I've read, but until I get a chrony I'm staying here because it's also the most accurate load I've found.
Life was so much simpler when I thought I knew everything...

My current  coyote load is as follows;

Winchester brass
55gr Hornaday SP's
24.7 grs of BenchMark
CCI BR4 primers
OAL of 2.300

Just as accurate....using 55gr Nosler BT's. (OAL 2.335)

.223 loads

24.5 grns of IMR 3031 is a good load (MAX)

MAX for Accurate 2230 is 25.5 grns.  25.0 grns has done well for m,e even better than 3031.  By the way, Accurate 2230 meters perfectly.

Sierra makes a 55 grn HPBT bullet (#1390) that's been very good to me.  The HP doesn't deform like a SP can, and a hit means a closed casket for Mr. Groundhog.
