Just bought some pmc 45colt+p anyone get a chance to try this yet?

Picked up some for last deer season. Got decent groups from them ( not that good of a pistol shot yet ). Alot more recoil, serious thumper. This in a Ruger Blackhawk, Bisley frame. Maybe alittle heavy for deer hunting. Let me know how they work for you, hope to flatten a deer or two next season.

I bought them for field carry buy im yet to shoot em. I have a 7 1/2 BH that Im going out to shoot today. I will keep u posted

Got some cor-bon 325(?) or 330(?) grain +p's for both 44 and 45 colt for my vaqueros. The 44 held closer to poa vs winchester/remington 240 gr factory loads than the 45 colt did. (chamber throats?)
Have both for woods tromping, short range deer/hog.
I tell you, that 45 colt hot load in a 5 1/2" vaquero will get your attention! It smacks you harder than most heavy 44 loads do, IMO.
Price is a little prohibitive for popping off at the range at more than $25 a box for #25, but the big kick and the big bang make it so much fun to shoot...

just got back from the woods and the 45+p shot good. The thing is the cylinder was hard to turn after shooting?. Was kinda like the brass expanded to the point of it being hard to rotate cylinder? Anyone out there can help me out with this one. This is the first time I have shot this 45colt so dont know haw it shoots with normal loads. HELP. :?
