Who else hates the Survivor stock??

I sure do.

I orderd my .308 in the "Survivor" model because I thought it looked cool...It IS NOT.

Today I ordered a standard synthetic stock to replace it.

The older survivor stock, which I also felt was ugly when I first saw iot, feels great on my quick and light coyote gun. The new style is a butt ugly butt stock in my mind. But as has been said, someone will buy it, why I don't know, but(t) perhaps they will want to try it for themselves....<><.... :grin:  

Which is yours? The older model with storage in the butt behind the butt plate or the new ugly skeleton style?

If it's just the stock that's the problem, order a new Handi or Ultra stock, swap it out and sell the Survivor stock. It's still a good rifle, it's just wearin' a POS stock. There's always someone looking to buy one.

I like the RIFLE very much, I really like the Bull Barrel.... a new standard stock is on the way.

I am gonna subject the Survivor stock to cruel experiments.

I put a Ultra stock on mine. It was refinished using Tung Oil, and that bull barreled Survivor action looks great in it. Now I have to find a stock to replace the one on my Ultra. I think I'm going to order one from Gunstocks Inc. I had several guys inquire about the Survivor Stock, so before you torture test it, you may want to sell it to them.

Count me in as one that dislikes them as well...I sold mine to off-set the cost of the Cinnamon laminated ones I got from the factory...I would suggest you do the same...there are folks that want them...
