Browning low wall "Dale" trigger modification

I just finished doing the Dale McGee trigger modification, that was much talked about here when we were on the old forums, on my Browning low wall and in dry firing I can tell a big difference. Before with the factory adjustment I could only get down to about 4 lbs. and there was a little creep in the trigger pull. I only took the pull weight down to just a hair under 3 lbs but now the creep seems to be gone. I can't wait till I get a chance to try it at the bench and see if it makes any difference in my groups.

good morning..I have a Browning high wall and am wondering about the modification...where do you buy it?...hard to install?..anyway if anyone can shed light for me I would like it...thanks...WW1

It isn't a "thing", that you buy & install; it's more a gunsmithing "fix" that you just do.  However, it requires a certain amount of machining capability/knowhow.  It's described pretty well in the topic "Browning 1885 Disassembly", down the current list maybe 10-12 items.  It's otherwise known as the "Dale53 fix" and I think you should be able to do a search under that and find the original description.
