I recently purchased a pretty large lot of .303 Brit. ammo
and I can't seem to ID where it came from.
HEADSTAMP IS AS FOLLOWS.

A80  
7.7 R1M3Z

The dates on the 50 round boxes are 8/80.
And the charge is powder not cordite.
It looks like it was loaded yesterday.
I think it is South African but I have never seen
this headstamp.
ANY IDEAS?

You're right it is South African. A = Armscore, Pretoria West Metal Pressings Pty. SA.... B7.7X56R. Probably is the same as the PMP commercial stuff. Which is very good, can you hook me up with some ?

I bought all the guy had and I have never seen anymore with
this headstamp. I have no idea where to get more. If I see it
anywhere I will pass it along
